How to make “MINESTRONE SOUP”
COUNTRY: italy
INGREDIENTS;
Olive oil 5ml Carrots 10 g
Zucchini 10g
Potqtoes 10g
Onions 10g
Leeks 5g
Broccoli 5g
Cauliflower 5g
Tomatoes 20g
Green peas 10g
Basil 1g ( shredded)
Veg stock 200 ml
salt & pepper to taste
Method;Zucchini 10g
Potqtoes 10g
Onions 10g
Leeks 5g
Broccoli 5g
Cauliflower 5g
Tomatoes 20g
Green peas 10g
Basil 1g ( shredded)
Veg stock 200 ml
salt & pepper to taste
1.Wash all the vegetables and process all the ingredients as listed above
2.Heat olive oil and add chopped garlic. saute without Colouring and add diced potatoes and carrots. let vegetables stew at a medium heat for five to seven minutes.
3.Now add onions, leeks, and 50 ml of stock and stew again covered with lid
4. And zucchini and tomatoes and stew again in the similar way
5. Add the leftover vegetables and add cauliflower and broccoli. bring to boil for five min, check the seasoning.
6. Add split peas and shredded basil.
7. Serve piping hot.
8. Served in a soup bowl with garnished with basil sprig and grated Parmesan cheese.
